About Shekhar Adhikari – Founder of Ram Engineers

Shekhar Adhikari is the founder and principal engineer of Ram Engineers, a practice built on integrity, precision, and practical engineering solutions. A scholarship graduate of the renowned Pulchowk Engineering Campus, Shekhar began his career as a Water Engineer with His Majesty’s Government in Nepal before completing postgraduate degrees in the Netherlands and Germany, including a Master of Engineering from UNESCO-IHE in Delft and an MSc in Resource Engineering from the University of Karlsruhe. Since migrating to Australia in 2004, he has gained extensive experience across transport planning, traffic engineering, asset management, and structural design through roles with the Department of Transport and Main Roads, Unitywater, Toowoomba Regional Council, and Moreton Bay Regional Council. A Chartered Professional Engineer and RPEQ, Shekhar has worked across residential, commercial, and rural projects, earning a reputation as a versatile and reliable engineer trusted by homeowners, builders, and developers. He established Ram Engineers with a simple vision: to provide affordable, clear, and high-quality engineering services that everyday clients can rely on—without the delays, complexity, or barriers often found in larger firms. Recognising the need for fast, practical, and solution-focused support, he created a client-centred practice where builders receive clear drawings, homeowners get genuine guidance, and developers benefit from responsive reporting. Today, under Shekhar’s leadership, Ram Engineers continues to grow, delivering services such as structural inspections, restumping design, subdivision engineering, and traffic assessments—always driven by professionalism, technical excellence, and a commitment to helping clients achieve safe and successful project outcomes.
